About me

Hi there!

My name is Courtney, and I am the owner/operator of Charlotte’s Critters.

I’ve had an affinity for working with animals for as long as I can remember. I started pet sitting at the age of 16 for friends and family, volunteered with therapy animals in nursing homes during college, and have now been professionally caring for animals for 4 years. I officially began pet sitting part-time via Rover.com after working at a boarding kennel and doggie daycare. After just a few months, that part time work took off! I had no idea there were so many families in the area looking for someone to care for their beloved pets. My love for animal care, combined with the interest for professional sitters in the area, made going full-time and founding Charlotte’s Critters the obvious choice!
